The 1st most important relationship in your life. Nothing trumps this…..I mean nothing! Can you imagine being with someone every second of your life that is your protector, your confidant and you can totally trust without question? I know it sounds heavenly – but it is. There are few people who has this kind of relationship with a human being in their lives, and trust me, they are so blessed to have that. But the real blessing is when you find this kind of relationship with God. Nothing matches that! Don’t you want some of that “forever” love in your life?

You need to know Him. I know that sounds silly because we all know who God is, right? But ask yourself, do you really know Him? To know Him is to understand Him and to comprehend His ways as best we can. We want to get really intimate so we can better understand His character, His love and His devotion to us. He unequivocally loves us without stipulations. And this is unbelievably amazing! We want to understand him in a way that we never feel distant or faraway from His presence and security. We accomplish that through prayer and studying His Word.

Talk to God on the regular. When I say on the regular, I mean every single day and multiple times a day. Yes you heard me! We don’t need any fancy time or place to talk to God, the only thing we need to do is open our mouths and speak. He hears you. When you call His name, He is all ears, ready to be at your beck and call. Why? Because He loves you. He wants you to talk to Him the same way you talk to your BFF about everything. He is waiting to hear from you. The more you talk; the easier it gets. Trust me on that! Just start….. (here’s a secret: talking to him and prayers are the same thing)

Get to know other Christians. Isn’t it amazing how much we grow and learn when we are around other like-minded people? If we are only hanging out with people that can’t add value or growth to our lives, we are missing the mark. Being able to conversate, uplift and encourage one another is a key component of this Christ Walk. Do you really think God created all these people just to worship Him with no other motive? Of course not, He knew that we would need each other down here in this place called Earth so we are here to be a blessing and of use to each other. So work on getting chummy with other Christians so we can keep our minds and lives focused on God. Christians are really fun people (most of us anyway, 🤣)….hang out with us, you will see.
